Arrive at Stepperiders and get ready for your first day of adventure! After settling in, enjoy a morning and afternoon horse ride through the beautiful steppe, where you'll meet our horses and explore the area. Return to Stepperiders for a tasty lunch prepared by our chef. In the evening, relax with some basketball or enjoy the peaceful, starry night outside. You’ll spend your first night in a cozy Mongolian Ger, where you’ll stay for the five days, surrounded by comfort and nature.
After breakfast, Head to Hustai National Park. There, you’ll search for the famous Mongolian Wild Horses (Takhi), the only wild horses that have never been domesticated. These horses are hard to spot, so if you're lucky, you might get to see them! As you explore the park, you could also spot red deer, marmots, and various birds. Take a break for a picnic with beautiful views of the landscape. In the evening, return to Stepperiders for dinner and spend the night in your Ger.
Today, you’ll spend the whole day with a nomadic family to learn about their traditional way of life. You’ll have the chance to help with milking, combing, and herding animals, as well as assist in making airag (fermented mare's milk) and preparing Mongolian food. The tasks vary with the seasons, so you’ll experience authentic daily activities. You’ll also have time to chat with the herders, ask about their lifestyle and challenges, and share stories. They’ll be curious about your life and why you’ve come to their country. It’s a wonderful day of cultural exchange that you’ll remember forever!
In the morning, ride your horse through the beautiful steppe, traveling across rolling hills while watching peaceful animals graze. For lunch, enjoy a relaxing picnic in the open, surrounded only by nature, your horses, and your guide. After a peaceful day at horse pace, return to Stepperiders for a refreshing shower. In the evening, unwind in our big Ger with other guests—chat, play chess, or relax in your own Ger.
On your last day, head to Terelj National Park in the morning. Start with a visit to the famous Turtle Rock, where monks once hid during times of repression. Afterward, hike up to the Ariyabal Meditation Temple, stopping for a picnic along the way. At the temple, enjoy one of the most stunning panoramic views of the region. You’ll also have the chance to turn the big prayer wheel and discover your personal Buddhist tip. If you’re lucky, spend some time talking with the Lhamas, who will be happy to share their knowledge and stories. Return to Stepperiders for lunch and the end of your adventure.
